Switching from photopost to vbgallery

Hi,

The license said it was ok to switch between photopost pro and vbgallery. I've installed photopost and it's not quite as intergrated with my forums as I would like so wanted to give vbgallery a try. Would I need to uninstall photopost first in order to do this? If so how would I go about uninstalling it (other than deleting the directory its in)?

Your vBulletin version is 3.0.xxx and not 3.6.xxx ?

Do you need image and comment migration, and if so, what Pro version of the software is it ?

pro 6.01, vb3.6.8

My issue is that no links to the gallery appear anywhere in the forum, I need the gallery to integrate with the forum index page in some way so that users know its there (i.e. navbar) photopost pro doesn't appear anywhere on the forum index.

Incidentally it's an empty gallery right now I've not uploaded anything to pro yet

I've followed the vbgallery instructions included in the download. Two things, editing one of the templates says to find

'aaa' => 'AAA Old Backup'

in /forum/includes/adminfunctions_template.php file

this string does not exist in my file.

More importantly when trying to run the install script forum/admincp/vbagallery_install.php I get a 404 not found error even though the file is there in the directory. Bit confused by that.

Any help?

Hello there is 3 versions of vBGallery.
- vBulletin 3.6
- vBulletin 3.5
- vBulletin 3.0

PhotoPost vBGallery v2.4 (for vBulletin 3.6 only)
Build: 12/3/07 2:27 PM

Is the one you want to use.

The directions you are quoting is from a older version for vBulletin 3.x.

This is a problem with the XML file. It needs to be uploaded again.

Those directions are from the link in the download section for vbgallery 2.4 for vb3.6.x, I replied in the other thread once I realised I'd not been paying attention and put this in the wrong place. Meaning the 3.6.x subforum.
