I'm new...and I need help...

First, I should say I am NOT a programmer/coder of ANY sort...I don't even play one on TV.

I know JUST enough about what I'm doing to do some damage - but the owner of the site has full faith in my ability to "learn".

Which is why I am here.

We have vBGallery on our rather large site - it's largely under-used because there seems to be some glitchy stuff going on. I guess I should include that this is a new "job" for me - the person who had the position previously didn't jump in as far as I have - so I can't ask her.

I have a few problems:

1. Even if a member elects NOT to allow othes to upload to their Gallery, people can anyway.

2. If a member elects to make their gallery Private - everything below it is private (and unreachable for upload) as well.

How can I fix these two issues?

I am trying really hard to learn - and its possible that there is a setting that I'm just not seeing...so any help would be great!

We hope to upgrade in a few weeks/months to 3.5.3 and also PhotoPost Pro.

Thanks in advance for any help!

AF-Brandy,

You're not showing as a verified customer; please follow the steps listed here.

Which versions precisely are you running of vBa Gallery and vBulletin?

Sorry, the link you posted didn't work for me....

Currently, we are running vB 3.0.6 but are upgrading to 3.5.3 in the coming weeks/months...and because everyone has gone home for the night, all I can give you on our version of Gallery is Gallery v1.0 RC2 (which is what it says at the bottom of the page).

I can get the licensing info tomorrow, when everyone is in the office (I don't work on site).

Thanks for the info on being verified...I'm verified on vB.org, I didn't think about it here
