Gallery will not let you login

If you login on the front page and click the Gallery link, it shows in the top right corner that you are not logged in. If you try to login from this point (gallery) it logs you in and redirects to front page. If you click upload in gallery, it asks you to login and when you try to login it try to, but then it comes up with cannot find upload.php. I have cleared the cache, but still no luck.
