I killed the gallery!

We just upgraded servers and moved hosts. But after the transfer, my gallery stopped uploading files. So I tried uninstalling then reinstalling. And in this process, I killed the entire gallery!

I already filled out a support ticket, but are there any hope of restoring or salvaging my gallery?

Re: I killed the gallery!

Uninstalling the gallery is going to kill all of your database entries. Your only chance of getting them back would be a backup from your old host.

Re: I killed the gallery!

Oh man!

I don't have access to the old host server, but I do have a backup of the vb DB from the transfer over the weekend. Is there any way of extracting the gallery entries from there? Would I have to ask the host to create a new database with it, and then extract the info?
