Upload From Server

I have the gallery working on my site for about 1 month now things are going well.. except I wanted to Bulk Upload a few pictures using the "Upload From Server" I placed them in the /1 directory.. it proccesed the files perfectly.. and I was able to see them..

The problem is that when I look inside the /1 directory still see the files there.. and if I delete them the pictures disapair from the site.. How can I prevent this?

I thought the system automatically deleted the /1 directory files once it moved them to the appopriate area? what am I doing wrong?

Re: Upload From Server

If removing them from that directory also deletes them from your site then it sounds like you have your 'Files Path' and 'FTP Users Path' options set to the same folder. Those need to be in different folders such as /yoursite/files and /yoursite/users

Re: Upload From Server

File Path I have: d:/webroot/asff.com/web/forum/gallery/files
FTP User Path I have: d:/webroot/asff.com/web/forum/gallery/users

They are not the same.. or is this the problem?

Re: Upload From Server

I did a test.. and it seems that the script is not deleting the files in the
/1 directory after it has prosseded them..

Because I deleted the files in the /1 directory and the picutures where moved to the appropriate section..

So now the problem is with deleting the files in that directory.

Re: Upload From Server

Do you have that directory chmod'd to 777?

Re: Upload From Server

Oh, you're on Windows. You need to give the IUSR_... account access to delete files in that directory.
