Bulk Upload Issues (Windows IIS6)
 

Hey guys… I am having issues running Bulk Uploads on my server.

I am running a Windows 2003 Server IIS6
vBadvanced CMPS v2.0 RC2
vBadvanced Gallery v1.0.1
vBulletin Version 3.0.8

If I chose bulk upload and set the limit to 5 images to process it will work sometimes but I always get a blank page that’s halted on upload.php. If I chose 10 or more images I just get a blank page and no images to select.

I have edited my php.ini file to allow up to 100 MB uploads. I checked all my permissions and everything seems fine. I can upload single images just fine, but the bulk method is not working for me.

All my images are JPGs.. and are around 2 to 3 megs in size.

I am using GD2 for the image processing.

I have ImageMagic installed but cannot get it working… it gives a bunch of errors.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to make this work?

with files that size you would also have to edit the timeout.. (in php and maybe also in the serverconfig.. ) but i'm not familiar with that server.. i use apache

I dont know if there is also a filesize limit server and/or php.. and not just upload size...
might be a lot of different settings..

Thanks Luc... I tried to increase the server timeout but its still not working right. If anyone is out there runnng on windows let me know what you did to get this to work or even if it will work at all.

Sounds like that's the problem right there... Your server can't handle resizing images that large. You may be able to edit your php.ini file to increase the timeout for PHP, but if that doesn't work your only option may be to upload smaller files, or less at a time.
