black thumbnails

In my Gallery some Thumbs are totally black?
What happens?

GD does that for some files. Depending on the number of colors they have/etc. I've seen it from time to time. If you switch to ImageMagick, you shouldn't see that anymore.

Contact your host and ask if ImageMagick is on your server, and if so, ask for the path where it is located. Then just edit the Gallery AdminCP options to tell it to use ImageMagick, and put the path to it in the specified field.

That's sort of ridiculous.
