cookie domains

For the cookie domain setting in the admin CP, do I have to set the cookie domain to .MyDomain.com for the gallery to work? I have the forum installed at a sub-domain (ex. forums.MyDomain.com) and the gallery at www.MyDomain.com/gallery/

Right now I have the cookie domain set to .MyDomain.com, but unfortunately some people who accessed my forum from an alternative domain name (ex. MyDomain2.com) can no longer log in.

Any idea how I can fix this problem so people can log in from the alternative domain name? I don't know if it's allowed to put two domain names in the cookie domain setting....

Re: cookie domains

Have you tried just leaving that setting blank?

Re: cookie domains

Yes. If I leave it blank, when I go to the gallery it doesn't show me as logged in and shows the log in form... Filling in the form redirects me to the forum and still doesn't show me as logged in on the gallery...

Re: cookie domains

If leaving it blank doesn't work then about your only other option is going to be to set up a redirect on your other domain name(s) and have them redirected to the domain that you set in your cookie domain.
