i started getting that out of nowhere, for no apparent reason. everything was working fnd and that thing popped up

Admin CP => Import & Maintenance => Repair / Optimize Tables

Try using that to repair/optimize your adv_gallery_images and adv_gallery_categories tables.

ya, that was my first try at this, and it didn't help, still happening for some odd reason.

it did say something about the table wasn't closed properly, i have no idea what that means though.

Would you mind submitting a support ticket so I can have a look at things?
