how do i know what image program i have?

I don't know if i have GD or ImageMagick but no matter which one i pick the image uploads correctly.

My only problem is i can't get my watermark to work.

I need help figuring out which program i have, or just getting my watermark to work.

It’s a PNG file, and the path is correct.

Just above the setting you should be able to see what version of GD you are running. Your host is really the only one that can tell you if IM is installed.
Is the watermark file perhaps bigger than the image(s) you're uploading? That's about the only thing I can think of that would have an effect if you're sure the path is correct.
