Sudden upload problem
 

Hi,

My gallery has been working fine since install (months ago) but suddenly users are reporting :

An error occurred while attempting to create a folder for your files. If the problem persists, please notify the webmaster

I have checked it and cant see a problem. Any ideas?

Check the permissions on your files directory under Gallery. Sounds like your permissions may have gotten changed somehow.

Have you moved servers recently?

Not that I know of, although they did carry out some work which meant I had to have some downtime.

If they did move what would I need to change as everything looks the same to me?

Could be the permissions on the individual folders if you had moved servers, but that *usually* only happens if you've manually transferred the files. If you'd like to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look and see what the problem is.
