[RC4] Display issue or bug? (... or something I did?)

One of my users just brought this to my attention....

None of the categories on my the site have "Allow users to create sub-categories" turned on but under the "My Stuff" menu drop-down the "Category Admin" option stil shows. They are then presented with the screen as normal but can't choose a parent category so they're left in a limbo.

Was that member perhaps a member of your 'Community Members' group? Besides admins, that's the only group I see that has permission to create categories. The link in the gallery navbar just goes by those permissions, then of course the parent select box goes by which categories the user should have permission to create sub-categories in.

Yep, he's in the Community Members group. OK, looks like I created a conflict in permissions. I was allowing the group to create categories but I didn't specify any categories that they could create them in.

Actually I did add a check to the dev files to print a no permission page if there aren't any categories a user can upload to since I think that makes more sense than just displaying the page without any categories.
