The description for that field tells you that it will prefix everything up to the files directory for you, so you would use something like the example mholtum posted.

Re: red x when trying to add image for catgeroy

have you tried a thumbnail image?
what is odd is this:
http://www.beastclub.com.au/gallery/files/Array
isnt even pointing to an image.
I get no permission error for:
http://www.beastclub.com.au/
&
http://www.beastclub.com.au/gallery/

Did you revert your modified templates after upgrading to RC4? Since it's putting the word "Array" in there it looks like an incompatibility between the code and the template.

Re: red x when trying to add image for catgeroy

welll thats my point

although i link it to 1/image.jpg it comes up with the red x box with the link proprty of http://www.beastclub.com.au/gallery/files/Array

What permission error? The link is invalid and when i supply the url to 1/whatever.jpg it comes with a red x and a gap, and a link to /array instead.

you wont see the error now because i removed the link obviuosly. it looks ugly when its boxed.

yes i tried thumbnail too

You need to revert your 'adv_gallery_categorybits_level1' and 'adv_gallery_categorybits_level2' templates if you modified them.
