blank page on delete

when i try to use admin tools and chose delete image, it takes me to a blank page and doesnt delete the image at all. stays in misc.php

what is causing this?

Works fine for me. Did you upgrade to RC4, and revert all your Gallery templates?

it happened in rc3 aswell, i upgraded i thought it would fix it and still blank page on delete

But did you revert any templates that you had modified in RC3? Otherwise, they won't be updated to RC4.

it was dooing the same problem in RC3 as i installed it, and same thing in RC4.

AdminCP->Styles & Templates->Style Manager->Edit Templates

Are any of your Gallery templates showing as Red? If so, that means you modified them.

Any templates that have been modified in any way, won't be updated to the new version of that template when you upgraded to RC4. Which means they will still have the same old code as RC3, which means they could still have bugs and/or incompatibilities with the new RC4 underlying PHP code. You have to manually revert them to get the new RC4 code.

ok,
yes some have red obviuosly, i did modify parts like remove last post etc bits.
does this affect it?

what should i do to get the full upgrade?
isnt there a way to get that delete function to work
because it never even worked before i modified the gallery.

Edit your 'ADV_GALLERY_SHOWIMAGE' template and change the form action from 'misc.php' to 'moderate.php'.

Just to clarify:
It may have been broken in RC3, but was fixed in RC4. Since your templates didn't get updated when you upgraded (because you had modified that particular template), then of course the bug would still be there on yours.

If you want to make sure you're completely updated, you would just need to revert all the Gallery templates, then re-apply any modifications you have made.

If you just want to correct this one problem, Brian explained that above.

where exactly is the form action in that template?

could you please demonstate the exact action i have to replace

Search the template for "misc.php". Change that to "moderate.php". Done.

You probably only need to change the one on the FORM line. The other calls to misc.php are probably still valid.

ok it delets the item but now gives a error while doing so
