Images dissapear!!

Hello,

I've recently installed the gallery and now i'm getting chance to getting it up and running.

I have one small problem. When I upload an image, it says the image has been uploaded and is waiting moderation but the file doesn't get uploaded and there are no files waiting to be moderated.

The directory paths are correct for both files and users and I have chmod 777 for both these directories.

Any ideas?
