Gettin' A Little Upset!

Alright, I went into the admincp for the gallery and did a scan database for issues...Well it found all sorts of issues, so I click on fix problems...now alllll my .gif images are gone that signify what the file type is.

Where did they go??

Maybe I was better off sticking with RC2...everything worked in that one

Re: Gettin' A Little Upset!

Ok so I just re-uploaded all those image files and that fixed the problem...

Now, what did the gallery do with the originals? It stated they were not in database...when I clicked on fix problem, did it delete them or put them in the database somewhere?

Thanks!

Re: Gettin' A Little Upset!

Generally if you get a 'not in database' error and tell it to fix it then it removes the physical file.

The best thing I can recommend is to submit a support ticket, if you haven't already, so that Brian can take a look at this one. I have not seen a problem like you're describing before so it's best if he'd be able to see it.

If you go into your admincp and look in the gallery menu, go to maintenance and select Scan Database...I will be all those images for the file types will show.

I wonder why it does that?

By any chance, are/were you running the pre-RC3 version? Before RC3 was released and I was running the pre-RC3 version I had a problem where a scan listed every file I had in my gallery. The problem was corrected prior to RC3 being released to the public. In my case it was all files, not just ones of a certain file extension.

Re: Gettin' A Little Upset!

Actually I ran RC2 and then upgraded...

Hopefully Brian will see my support ticket soon and be able to help!

Thanks for taking a look!
