postbit template not showing ..

Hi Brian ..

On my forums I've used the following ..

This allows my users to pick which postbit template to use .. either the new style or the old vb2 style ..

I've now found that if any of my users have picked the old style to use on the forums they can't see any comments on the Gallery.

I take it this is because the Gallery uses the new style of postbit.

Is it the case that I can add the following code to one of the Galleries templates?

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

and if so which one?

Or should the Gallery be using the forum phpinclude_start template and for some reason the gallery isn't able to cope with the old postbit choice?

Or even change the code above to exclude the gallery from the choice ..

I don't think so, because you can edit the postbit in gallery to be totally different than vB's.
I bet is the way the code in phpinclude_start is working...
Try to modify it to this and see if there is any change:

I'm not entirely sure why that hack would be creating a problem. If you'd like to submit a support ticket though I'll be glad to take a look.

For anyone else having this problem .. "Should be fixed now. Looks like we just needed to add 'postbit_legacy' to the global templates for that file."

Not sure how that's done

.. but I'm sure Brian will explain if someone asks
