Updateexif????

You are not going to believe this. I purchase the script and install on my system. During the installation process, my area got blacked out for an hour or so. When I got my server back online, I try to install by choosing the upgrading. It went thru fine.

When it get to the updateexif thingy, it ran forever. It doesn't stop now. It look into the adress bar it says pagenumber=56016 and keep increasing. It has been running for 10 hours.

How long doest it take to run this? Can I stop it? What should I do?

I was just going to post about this. I ran it for about an hour or two and finally quit it. Not sure if thats expected behavior or not.

Re: Updateexif????

Uhmm I don't have any images. This is a fresh install. It becomes annoying now. I start the process around 3:00 am. It is not finished yet. I use file system for my forum.

I cannot believe it. It is 69000 now. Argh...!!!

If I quit now, will it cause any problem to my database and forum???

Any suggestions???

Re: Updateexif????

That process is just to move the current exif information to a new table, for RC3. If there were no images, I would think it should skip that step anyway.

Okie

Update...I shut it down.

Rerun the install -> use uninstall -> then install it again.

Re: Updateexif????

Apparently I didn't think to do a check for those who don't have any images during that part of the upgrade process and not having any was throwing things off. For those who had the problem, stopping it won't hurt anything. I've also updated the install file so that others won't have the same problem.
