I have a few wierd problems

When I try to log out I get a grey type screen and I lock up. or I cant log out.
on my board that we are changing over (Hoperfully tomorrow), I have VBAdvanced gallery rc3 and vb cmps 1.01 running vbulletin v 3.06

on my test board I have no problems, I am running gallery rc3 vbcmps 1.01 and vbulletin version 3.05.
On my other forum I have no problems either

My daughter who is about 30 feet from me has no problems on her pc at all, Same cable network also

My buddy who is working on this project with me is having problems as well, but he just cant stay logged in.

Ive gone through all the cache fix's that I have read and the cookie fixes that I have read. I am sure its in the cache somewhere but where??

I didnt have this problem until I upgraded both to cmps v1.01 and gallery rc3 on the vb3.06 version.

We made some template mods but they have worked until the last 2 days.
Also I have imported most of our phpbb2 board and dont knwo if something got messed up.

ALso all three of us have clear cookies and internet files rebooted a million times etc.

Anyone have any ideas I can try?

Re: I have a few wierd problems

I have a couple although not quite sure if I understood the problem. This logout grey screen only happens on your board and on your computer, right? The other computers don't have the problem, right?

- Have you tried another browser?
- Does that grey screen has any code? I mean, have you tried to see the html source to check if it is a browser display problem (code is there and complete but a typo somewhere creates that weird problem) or if the code is suddenly cut of at some place.
- Have you tried replacing login.php with a fresh copy?

Re: I have a few wierd problems

RBL
Sorry for the late reply.

heres some more info on my problem( noone else seems to have it any more)

As far as the log-out grey/brown screen, you know how when you log out it fades teh screen, then you get a pop-up window, mine just locks up and after about 5-10 mins I get the confirm log out window.
this does this on every log-in log out box EXcept for the one at the bottom right of the forums( the one above forum jump) it works fine there.

my ie browser locks up so I am not sure how to do a view source when I log out.
Ive tried 4 differnt pcs and havent had any problems except on this one.
Like you say I am sure its a missing code or typo and will start searching
on the login.php file can I pull it from my unzipped version of vb 3.06 on my hard drive and just replace it?

The board is http://www.azbasszone.com
login is test1
pw is test

Re: I have a few wierd problems

I've just tried logging in and out of your board using the supplied data and had no problem whatsoever on both logout links. The logout procedure just deletes the site's vB cookies, nothing else. The code is fine, I see no problems at all.
So, if the code is ok and no other pcs and browsers share your problem, then the problem is your browser (or in your browser). Maybe the old site phpBB2 cookies are messing with the new one...

That said, replacing vB files won't do a thing. What you need to do is try a different browser. Download and install Firefox. Try to log in and out of your site and see if you have the same issue.
