| RC3 using URLs relative to gallery not forums
I noticed some strange behavior after upgrading; Calendar link on navbar in Gallery goes to Gallery home page, Logout does not work in Gallery navbar only, and more. I checked and found why. The URLs were wrong in the Gallery navbar only. For example:
What should be... Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Was instead... Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
I can find a way to fix this but wanted to report it just in case it wasn't only me. Could it be I caused this?

Admin CP => vBa Gallery => Default Settings
Make sure you have those files listed in your 'Navbar Replacements' setting (or you 'Header Replacements' setting if those links are in your header template). Even if they are, try saving you settings to be sure that the cache has been updated.

Sorry, I don't quite follow...
Admin CP > vBa Gallery > No "Default Settings", there is a "Modify Settings" but there is no "Navbar Replacements" here. Where are "Navbar Replacements"?

Something must be wrong, it's just not there. I do see "User Category Options" that I thought were installed with RC3 but maybe my Admin CP is not updated? I'll try uploading/overwriting the files again.

The files shouldn't really have anything to do with it as the settings and such are added in the database. Not quite sure why they wouldn't be there, but if you'd like to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look.

If you have modified your forum navbar template, the paths will have "gallery" in them unless you use full url's or at least /forum/memberlist.php /forum/calendar.php etc. in all the links.
EDIT: This may have something to do with this thread, but I cannot decipher what it means:
"The construct_adv_navbar() function has been done away with and instead a replace is done on the template cache for the navbar template to update links. This helps with those who have added other hacks that will show up in their navbar and ensures that they will not have to do any extra work to get these hacks to display on their gallery pages."

Any word on this? I'm having the same problem, tried to put /forums/ in front of the files and still not working.

It was resolved for me only after a ticket was submitted. I did not fix it myself. I think Brian said that something did not install correctly. Anyway, the whole navbar replacements section was just missing until he helped me.

Brian pointed out to me that I was still using an older version of gallery_global.php. I replaced that with the correct one and everything is working now. That was some fast support!
