category description SQL table type
 

For each category in our gallery, we type 1-2 [quick] sentences to describe it.
I've just noticed some were cutting off - so i tried retyping the sentence in edit cat., only to find it still cut off.

I have changed my field type from VARCHAR(255) to TEXT.
any implications to this? i.e. search functions will take too long, or not search descirption at all?

Also, i think this should be changed in RC3, if possible Brian.

There's not any reason I can think of why changing this would be a problem. I'll have it updated with RC3 as well.
