Unable to resize image

Whenever I upload an image I get:

An error occurred while attempting to resize this image. If the problem persists, please notify the webmaster

After searching the forums here it seems the most likely candidate to check was the path to Imagemagick.

However here are my server paths:

# whereis convert
convert: /usr/bin/convert

Quote:

# whereis mogrify
mogrify: /usr/bin/mogrify

And here is my gallery setting:

Quote:

/usr/bin/

Any ideas?
