Blank index.php

I just got done installing, then I found out from here that you have to add your own link to the gallery (that should be in the instructions)

After i went to the URL for my gallery, I just get a blank white page. Yes I did configure the settings in the admin panel already. I'm not sure what else could be wrong.

ignore that post....When i saved my gallery_config.php file, i forgot to take off the .new on it, so i changed that and rebuilt the templates...now it works! Thanks for making an awesome product!
