Some galleries not showing

I have 48 user galleries, they work fine and show up fine when I am an admin.

when I log in as a regular user under a differnet name I can only see about 6-10 of them.
I even made one gallery for my regular user name and gave it all the permissions and I am not able to see it.

Ive checked all the user gallery permissions and they are all the same, so I am stumped. any ideas?
