Weird message sent to admin by vB Gallery?

I just received a couple of these mails:

Warning:
It has been determined that you have not made the necessary file changes to your vBulletin files in order for your vBadvanced Gallery to function. This could be the result of upgrading to a newer version of vBulletin, or simply not making the changes as outlined in the readme file. You must open your readme file and make the changes outlined in the "File Changes" section before your gallery will be functional again.

Note: Do NOT modify any of your usergroup permissions before these changes are made. Doing so will result in that group losing all permissions in vBadvanced Gallery!

I haven't updated vbulletin (still 3.03) and have vbgallery RC2 running for some weeks. How come I am receiving these mails suddenly?

on vbulletin.com they advised people who didn't want to fully upgrade to 3.04 to just replace the init.php file in order to fix that sql problem. But by replacing that file a few changes necessary for the gallery were overwritten....

Blaaahhh..... I hate these updates
