RC2 Installation - clear.gif broken, fixed here.
 

I just bought and installed RC2, but noticed a missing step that should be covered in the installation instructions, for without it, clear.gif gets broken.

In addition to editing all the paths for image files, you have to go into:

vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings

Change Location of clear.gif section from clear.gif to /clear.gif

I didn't notice this problem under Firefox, but Safari shows the standard missing image icon on the page.

Or, just place another copy of clear.gif in the gallery directory.

Unless you have your 'Forum URL' option under your main vB options set incorrectly then there shouldn't be any reason why this image would be broken.

Nope, forum URL is set correctly. I don't have vB in a /forum subdirectory, I have it in the root of my web server, thusly my Forum URL was set to http://whatever.com.

The clear.gif was showing up as /gallery/clear.gif instead of /clear.gif so changing it to /clear.gif in vBOptions corrected the issue for me.

That may end up creating problems where the clear.gif image is used in the admincp.

Hmm, it doesn't seem to be at the moment, but I'll keep an eye open incase it does.

If it does, I guess I can do like Tom suggests and copy the file to the gallery directory as well.
