Lost links to photos and ADMIN

One of my users apparently deleted his category, but his photos are still showing up in the gallery home.

When I try to edit the photo (to move it into a new category) or attempt to look at his category, I get this:

oldengine, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting email activation.

I would like to think that if I am logged in as administrator, this type of error message is not valid. I have done all counter rebuilds, but cannot edit those photos.

Can you give me a link to a specific image you're having a problem with?

http://www.smokstak.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=67

Category: John Ledbetter is fine.

Category: John Ledbetters old engines is missing.

Creating "John Ledbetters old engines" will not pick up the existing three photos that are linked to that category name.

Brian, create your account and I will add admin to it.

Ok, this is a good one... How exactly did that user delete his category? There shouldn't be any way for users to do this...
Would you mind opening a support ticket with the .htaccess info for your admin cp so I can have a look at a few things?

Re: Lost links to photos and ADMIN

It has me stumped. I had updated your scripts as per the bug report page.
As far as the user deleting his category, I called him, but he cannot recall doing so. Since then, I recreated his account, but it will not link to those existing photos. They are in the file system just fine.

I will enter a ticket.

Re: Lost links to photos and ADMIN

Looking further with phpMyAdmin at adv_gallery_categories, that missing category still exists and it has three photos in it. Yet it has dropped from existence on the vBaGallery Admin Edit Categories. And these images show on the latest and random images of the home page, but I also cannot edit the images to move them to another category.

Perhaps what is needed is a "rebuild" for this particular section of the database?

EDIT: All set now. Thank you Brian - Happy New Year!
