Upload files directly from the server

this feature has some problems...
every time i do a batch, some of the picture's thumbs don't get made...
then i must delete and upload by itself, one by one...
can you help me?
i have thousands of pictures to upload and this is taking forever...

Re: Upload files directly from the server

420, are you sure that the thumb isn't getting created? When I was doing batch uploads I encountered the scenario where occassionally on the batch-upload edit screen I would get either a red-x or the generic file image but after I hit 'process' the thumb would get created. Was happening with one of the betas.

But, either way... if the only problem is that the thumbnail is missing and the image is definitely getting saved to the database then you can just rebuild thumbnails from the ACP.

Edit: Also, try a smaller batch size and go from there. For example, if you choose to process 5 at a time does the problem still occur?

Re: Upload files directly from the server

this is happening whether i choose 4 or 24 images...
and i'd really rather not have to rebuild thumbs every time i do an upload...
i have so many to do...
if i have to, i will, but i am looking for a fix, if possible...
thanks for your help on the other issue earlier too bro...

Re: Upload files directly from the server

actually, when i rebuild thumbs, it re-builds them dso then i have my watermark in the bottom right of each thumb...makes it look like ass...
any suggestions?

is there a way to rebuild thumbs without the watermark?
