Non-specific error while uploading images.

My apologies for being a little vapid.. I am taking over this issue from a co-worker who installed vBadvanced, but was having issues.

As far as I can tell vBadvanced is working, however, attempting to upload an image results in the following error:

Quote:
An error occurred while attempting to resize this image. If the problem persists, please notify the webmaster
Sometimes, this error does not occur, and it appears that the image is uploaded to the server, however, no images appear in the gallery.

I would give more specific error information if I knew where to find it !
However, /var/log/vbox is empty - assuming that this is the correct logfile.

Re: Non-specific error while uploading images.

That means that ImageMagick had a problem trying to resize the image, which is usually the result of the path to IM being set incorrectly.

"Ask your host" doesn't work for me. What file am I looking for? ImageMagick is working with photopost but not gallery.

Try "/usr/bin/" -- make sure you don't miss the trailing slash.

Re: Non-specific error while uploading images.

Thanks Kevin.
"convert" is the answer (or one of them; I found it in functions_gallery_imageedit.php). "locate convert" at the shell prompt turns up "/usr/local/bin/". Turns out photopost uses "mogrify" not "convert", and apparently my installation of ImageMagick has been thumbnailed...
