Error Creating Folder

Trying to upload my first image and received the following error:

An error occurred while attempting to create a folder for your files. If the problem persists, please notify the webmaster

I checked my file permission on the /forums/gallery/files/ directory and it is set to 777. Thoughts?

What did you set for your 'Files Path' option?

/public_html/forums/gallery/files/

Try removing the trailing slash from the end there and that should take care of it. If not, double check that your path is correct because it's pretty rare that the root folder of a server starts with the public_html folder.

I've tripled checked everything and nothing seems out of place. And I deleted the trailing slash.

Would you mind submitting a support ticket via the Members' Area here then so I can have a look?
