Permanent category in adv_gallery_imagebit

The adv_gallery_imagebit template is used to display all thumbnail listings, including newest and random.
There is an if condition there (<if condition="$show['category']">) to display the category but there isn't a on/off selector on the administration area like the ones used with the other fields (description, size, etc).
Result? It displays the category permanently in the newest and random image blocks.

If you don't want the category displayed anywhere then you can remove that code from the template.

Problem is I do =)
I have that code commented out till a solution is found but I didn't understand if it is a bug or not.

What exactly are you trying to do then? The category is shown basically everywhere except for when actually browsing through a category since you won't know what category an image is in while in the other sections.
