root upload

Hi

in instruction it says:
root/gallery/ - Upload this folder and all of it's contents into your root directory.

Does that mean overwriting my old index.php etc or shall I make a new folder called gallery in my root and upload files? (then images will not show)

You just upload the gallery folder and it's contents to your root directory. So your gallery's index.php file would be located at yoursite.com/gallery/index.php.

what about images directory?

images would be in /gallery/images/

If you upload the whole gallery folder from the ZIP file, it should put all the files/directories in their correct places.

/gallery/
/gallery/files/
/gallery/images/
/gallery/users
/gallery/index.php
/gallery/browseimages.php
... etc


That's about what it should look like.
