Watermark and GD?

Hey, I'm trying to add a watermark which is a small .gif file, GD doesnt seem to add the watermark, any suggestions (such as change format??) or any options i may have forgotton to enable?

GD doesnt have watermarking abilits AFAIK.

It does, but not with gif images. If you use a jpg or png image then the watermark should work.
