hi,

will there be firefox support for the slideshow ?
at the moment the slideshow does not work using firefox.

the slideshow in the demo gallery here on vbadvanced works with firefox!
so it doesn't seem to be a browser problem ...

Works fine with FireFox for me as well... What version of the browser are you using? How exactly is it not working?

i'm using firefox 1.0
the slideshow stays with the first picture and does not start.
it is possible to click forwards and backwards but it does not
automatically switch to the next image ...

the only thing i did is moved the installation from my test to my production site!

Maybe something to do with the way you had your paths/URL's set up?

Just tried with your "Photos of the 20's through 40's" category with FireFox and it worked fine for me...

this seems to be a server/browser set up thing? :S

On my own site this slideshow works for IE, in firefox it doesnt & just shows the first image then never moves on.
While on a different site this slideshow works in both browsers...

On my site the vBulletin archive does not work due to apache/php being compiled as a module (or something) if that makes a difference?

Firefox 1.01, Windows XP & the dreaded SP2.


**edit** after posting I checked that I had used the correct links and it seems that both slideshows now work in firefox perfectly well despite the one on my site not working for the past two days...:confused:

I think it's gremlins playing silly games.

Hmm, I tried it on the same category that you did on FireFox and it still doesn't work. It works for me on Internet Explorer though.

I dunno, as long as it does work, it's all good :)
