[RC1] Mass upload = blank page

I tried to mass upload 5 images (JPEG, approx 1.4 MB in total) from my server and just got a blank page.
I think this could be caused by upload.php reaching memory limit, as increasing the limit (default was 8MB) did fix it.

I am getting that also, even if I have 2 images in mass upload.

What did you do to increase the memory limit?

You can either edit php.ini or use ini_set("memory_limit", "64M"); at the beginning of upload.php

I am still having this problem, and I do not know why. This is the top of the mentioned file.

Any ideas why this is happening, I really need to use the mass upload feature, I have 100+ images to upload.

They are all 1280x1024 and the gallery uses thumb nails (150) and a resized image at 1024x768 and retains the original image as a 'third' image.

Total images I am trying to import at 154 jpgs with a total size of 16 megabytes. I have tried it with 15 images, and I have even tried it when I want to process 5/10/etc etc images per page, it works on the first page,l but when it processes that batch and tries to move onto the next one, is when I get the whire page.

Would you mind submitting a support ticket so I can have a look and see what the problem is? Please also leave the images you were trying to upload on the server so I can test with the same ones you were using.

On these threads if they are resolved could you post the solution to the ticket. This is the 3rd thread I have seen dealing with a problem I'm having and when I get done reading to the bottom all I see is "please submit a ticket".

Well for Sanjiyan it was something weird on his server where GD wasn't able to process any images larger than 1024 pixels wide or high.

I was getting the blank upload.php problem just trying to upload one image and the advise in the above thread has fixed the problem ..
