I'm about to start fresh right now and do have a couple of questions before I install.

My goal is to use PhotoPost with my vb forum. Should I create a new database for PhotoPost or just continue to use my current vb database?

I keep reading about prefixes (haven't installed it yet so not at that point). Is there something important about prefixes I should know before using PhotoPost with my vb forum? I want them to work together, not looking to create a separate PhotoPost site.

I have a skin to install for my forum. Should I do that before or after installing PhotoPost?

You can use a separate database or the same does not matter. Our default prefix is fine to use and as far as any database info for the forum and table prefix of your forum database you can find that out in the vb config file. As long as you run the install and answer all the questions asked right you should be okay.
