How to specify rel=canonical in VBGallery?

I see this for photopost and reviewpost - has anyone sorted out how to specify the canonical URL for vbgallery yet, so that search engines will not penalize for duplicate content since there is more than one URL for a single image?

There has not been as of yet any work on SEO features etc for vbGallery. Right now Pro 8 is in development so once that sorts out I am sure development for vbGallery will start up again and they will consider changes to that software.
