Most Popular Categories in sidebar of forumhome?

Greetings,

I'm trying to put a top 10 of most popular categories in the sidebar of my forums, kinda like stats.php has.

It's probably not that difficult to just steal code from there or something, but unfortunatly my knowledge of php is absolute zero so i couldn't even begin trying to figure out where to start.
Also there don't seem to be any mods doing this or anything so :<

You can discuss code modifications outside our actual support forums in the MOD CORNER forums. That is where users can interact with one another on stuff that falls outside the actual product support like mods.
