Exclamation Moving images directory above public_html

Hi;

I am planning to move the vbgallery "images" directory above public_html so that the directory and its subdirectories will not be browsable (currently these subdirectories lack an index.html file, and thus anyone can browse them, which is a minor security issue)

Would it work If I moved the directory, and what else should I do other than setting the new path?

In case this is not recommended, how can I add index.html to every single subdirectory?

vBulletin version 4.1.3
Vbgallery 3.01 (is this the latest version)

There is no such feature in vbGallery.

There is such a feature in PhotoPost Pro.

Given that this "feature" is only about setting the path to images directory, are you planning to implement that in future releases (configuration file)?

If not, are you planning to automatically add index.html in 'images' directory and its subdirectories?

Any suggestions for the product can be placed in the vbGallery suggestions forum. Pro is the more mature gallery that has more features than vbGallery which is a lighter gallery on features but more tightly uses the vb template system and design than Pro does.
