Watermarked image not showing
 

Having probs with the watermarking,

Have searched forums and followed all the info including luciano's helpful post on watermarking, but still nothing.... whatever I do, once I enter the path for the watermark (on the fly watermarking, entered Globaly) any thumbnails I click on, do not show the the image when they are made larger...... just get a blank with the Red X box .. no image.

Have pm'd Luciano (as stated on one of his posts) with admin details for the site just to have a quick look....

Did have another issue earlier that was fixed by switching off the Base Url (not sure if this is connected)

Any ideas ? Path seems to be correct....

That usually means your path to the watermark is not correct. It must be full server path with filename. If on the fly watermarking is used it must be a png watermark and you must have GD2 on the server. If you have pm'd Luciano I am sure he will get back to you.

cheers.. thats what I thought regards to the path,, but no mattter what I try... :(.. it is on png and gd2 (least I think its GD2)

Hey chuck, any chance you could take a look ? Luciano is either busy or taking the weekend off :)

You can send a url and admin login to the contact us link in the header and I can look but I am far from the vbgallery expert. I usually provide support on our 3 other applications.

Have sent details chuck,,, not sure what happend to the pm I sent to luciano but when I just checked my "SENT" messages, it wasnt in there.... strange maybe thats why he hasnt checked it :(

Yes and I sent replies your watermark image does not seem to be valid so you need to create a valid one and try again with the full server path as noted.

Does anyone have a working Watermark that I could just check on my system ? have tried a few now... not to good with Photoshop and it seems to me you can only create 8 16 and 32 bit images... the watermark that I had off Luciano Was indeed 32 bit which could well be the problem,, But it would be very handy to have a "working model" that we could use as a test.

Like I said I tried pulling up whatever watermark you where trying to use via a url to doublecheck the file and all I got was a white page so there was no watermark.
