Remove EXIF info in db?

I just noticed that the ppgal_exif table in my database is 31Mb. I have disabled showing exif so I'm not sure why this table is so large. Is there a way to minimize this?

Thanks!

well you can disable exif info however if you had it enabled before it is still going to contain all the old exif info it extracted from all your photos before you turned it off.

I believe it's always been disabled. Does vBGallery store exif info in the database even though I've chosen to disable the view of exif?

No sorry the product is not going to save exif unless you enabled it.

If I never think I will show exif again, can I empty that table....or any other way to clean that table?

yes, you can empty it as chuck said, but do NOT delete the table. this could cause problems.
