Well you should be able to edit it in the stylevar editor..
the stylevars are:

background: {vb:stylevar forumhead_background};
font:{vb:stylevar forumhead_font};
color:{vb:stylevar forumhead_color};

stylevar would be forumhead_background you find it in section forums
