It's been a while now, is there any news on this issue?

Another 10 days went by. Am I not allowed to ask? Did I say something wrong?

I will see if I can get hold of a vbgallery support person. Now just reading over this myself have you disabled any plugins? Have you got an unaltered template uploaded yet? I do see where Luciano has asked this but I do not see an answer on that. Number one cause of most issues are code conflicts with vb mods.

I can say though working with our other products the flash uploader is code not directly supported by us because we did not write it. Our responses in a support manner are very limited. It is a feature we provide a switch for because not everyone is going to be able to use it depending on server setup. Like I know mod security can affect this operation of the uploader for one. How it works is specifically limited to the code not written by us so we really can not tell you how to make the uploader work differently than it is suppose to. I do know the cancel button only is active to cancel the current upload stream.

Well in 3.01 (to come out in a couple of days) the userdirectory is emptied on loading of upload page...
So the user will only get the error message (file to big) once.
If he uploads again, the drectory will be empty..

I will check the flash uploader, maybe another solution will be found.

Fixed: in 3.01. Flash uploader now uses the max filesize defined in vbgallery filetypes
But attention, it will use the biggest value of active filetypes for ALL uploads.
(that is how flashuploader works)
