I recently upgraded to vbgallery 2.51 and I've noticed that the vBgallery control panel (the section on the vbulletin admincp that shows some stats and the number of images that are awaiting moderation) isn't displaying.

Does that need to be turned on to display?

Are you saying your admin vbgallery is not showing in your vb admin?

Yes. But I found it on a separate page now. It used to be incorporated into the 'main' page of the vbulletin admincp in vbGallery 2.1. Now I have to click the "Statistics" links (Admincp > vBgallery > Statistics) to get to the vbGallery admincp.

Is there a way to get the vbgallery statistics (admin) to display on the same page as the vbulletin admincp?

How things might have been handled in early versions I can not say since I never really got into using vbGallery myself always been a PhotoPost Pro license holder here.

vbGallery 2.5 code branch at minimum is almost 4 years old so how we display the statistics in vbGallery are the way they are, The Product has its own stats section for some time now.

I would think if you want them to display in the vb part you would probally have to create a plugin for such an action.

The main reason that I found it useful when it was on the vbulletin admincp was to conveniently see when there were images that needed to be validated.

Is there anyway that you know of that will notify admins when there are images that need to be validated? For example, a pop up or an email note or ....anything?

I would have to investigate any available options which means it could take a few days for me to setup a vb3 site and see what the default options are. We have not worked with the vb3 series of code in years since it was made obselete with the release of vb4 as that is where all development has gone into.

I would think in your vbgallery settings there should be some options about notification and what they are for. If there is not an option in admin then there is not a feature.

Same thing I would have to investigate as to emails I know there is a tab in admin to approve images awaiting moderation. The amount that are awaiting approval should be shown in the gallery stats.
