Categories and Sub-Categories

I am trying to setup a Projects category with several sub-categories. The Sub-categories will have sub-categories where the images will be placed.

How do I configure it so sub-categories are not visible from the main gallery page? Like how the Members Galleries display.

Secondly, is it possible to mass upload from server directly to a sub-category?

In your gallery admin settings you are able to set the category depth.

Secondly on the upload page you can select which category you wish to upload to and as far as bulk uploading you can elect to process files in a specific directory on your server that already exist there or using 2.5 use the flash uploader to select content that exists on your home computer to upload to that category.

I was only looking at the category options when creating new ones and not the global vbgallery settings. :o

Thank you.
