Additional field link problem

I searched the forum and found a solution for Photopost but not for vbgallery.

I like to have a additional field where the link uploader can specify a url to his homepage. This link should automatically display a a clickable link.

I have seen a forum using vbgallery where it is like that so I would appreaciate a hint or solution to implement that. Thanks.

You can create in vbgallery custom fields through vbadmin => vbgallery => custom fields

I got the field but when I fill an URL in it is shown as text not as link. I like to have it shown as clickable link. Sorry for the confusion.

Well that might require some kind of code alteration in some manner.

I am pretty sure about that. I probably figure it out, but I thought someone already had an idea or solution about it.

yeah I show that links arent converted in those fields only bbcode

Probally something needs to be called when the actual post is needed to convert links to url bbcode

I tried to add bbcode and it just puts out the bbcode not the link. I have seen vbgallery installations where it gives out links and I know that the admin cannot code. Guess I have to do a deeper internet search before I start to program :-)
