Thumnail and directory problem

I recently swapped servers and all my thumbnails are dead. When i open a picture and try to rebuild a thumbnail i get this error :

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
The problem is there should be a "data" directory between "photo" and "2" in that path. I can't seem to figure out where this is in the config.

If you set your processor to GD2 do uploads work? Did you reset permissions on the data and uploads directories and change the paths to the new paths in the admin area?

permissions are set and i thought i had the paths right, they all appear correct but it's not because that path posted above is missing the data directory in it

The paths are in the global options and yes must be the full server path to the data directory with a trailing slash on it. That of course is if your talking about photopost pro. In vbgallery the data directory is called files and you do not use a trailing slash but based on your error your talking photopost pro.

I installed it so long ago i forgot what exactly i have, the bottom of the pages says this:
"Powered by: PhotoPost PHP vB3 Enhanced
Copyright © 2006 All Enthusiast, Inc."

here is another layer of conufsion, if i right click on the broken thumbnail and pull up properties i see this:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
the location points to the "nothumb.gif" but the "alternate text" and "title" point to the correct thumbnail location. If i cut and paste it in i get see the thumbnail.

Does this mean i still have my paths screwed up in the global options?

Check the urls and paths in global options and storage options in admin. Make sure your not using any htaccess that interferes with anything.

thanks for spending so much time with me on this....

I think my paths are all correct and there are no htaccess files to edit

when i look storage options these are my current settings

Current PATH setting: /mnt/target03/362362/373026/www.315er.net/web/content/photo/
Default PATH setting: /mnt/target03/362362/373026/www.315er.net/web/content/photo/
Current URL setting: http://www.315er.net/photo/data
Default URL setting: http://www.315er.net/photo/data

Why is there no data directory showing up in my path settings?
edit:
I changed it to end in the data dir and nothing was fixed

i fixed the double "//" by taking the last "/" off the path to UPLOADS directory in the global options. now the error says

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
my "4" directory is empty, i think this /tmp directory is the problem

Okay well now that your paths are correct make sure as priorly noted your permissions are set to 777 permissions recursively on the data and uploads directories.
