Are you using all updated files if you upgraded recently? Lines 72 and 75 are not really matching up to anything for me. Example line 72 in the file your error states is a blank line in the default global file.

I tried deleting the old files and rerunning the upgrade - but the upgrade is looking for ppgal prefix on the tables and the tables dont have that prefix

where is the prefix defined ? I dont see it in config file - looks to be statically listed in misc.php

looks like I have a table named adv_settinggroup and settinggroup but no ppgal_settinggroup

Code:

Okay so you where not running anywhere near the current code which is why your files have not matched up.

You are downloading the proper new code from us for your vb right?

You should be using vbgallery 2.4.3 and the prefix is indeed ppgal_ if your using anywhere near our current code from 2.x forward.

running vb 3.7.2

dloaded vbgallery 2.4.3

at what point did the prefix change ? Is there an upgrade that would have managed that change ? perhaps an older upgrade ?

there are 4.5 gb of images in the "Old" version

I reverted to a backup prior to the recent mess which brought the gallery back out of the dirt ...

vbgallery shows to be 2.0 in the Installed Products list

Its working fine - or so it seems - the issue is in trying to upgrade .... The upgrade complains of the missing tables due to the prefix issue earlier

Is there another process that can be done to upgrade ?
