How Do I Migrate Images from Database to File System?

Hello folks,

Quick question: To my understanding, all images that are uploaded to the vBGallery are stored in the database. Well, my database is absolutely jam-packed with images now and it takes an absolute lifetime to perform routine backups. Is there a feature whereby I can have all images moved over to a much easier folder/file system setup? I'd love to see my database shrink!

It probably goes without saying - but I'm not much of a PHP/MySQL/technical person and I'm just hoping I've worded this clearly enough. If not, please let me know and hopefully I can further clarify.

Summary: How do I move images out of the database and have it whereby all images are uploaded to a folder, say, /gallery/uploads/custompics/, instead?

Thanks for reading and I look forward to any and all help I can get.

Cheers,
Steve

????????
In vbgallery ALL images are stored in filesystem.. There are NO images in database!!!!
they are stored in the vbgallery directory either under:
if you are using safe mode:
/files/
or if you dont use safe mode by default:
/files/u/s/e/r/i/d/
example.. you as admin have userid=1 your images are in files/1/
if user has userid 234 his images will be in files/2/3/4/

I concur any of our gallery products never store images in a database as thats way inefficient.
