Photo Comments issue

Originally we had them turned off, but now we are gonna turn comments on.

I have enabled allowing of replies (I assume that's comments because I didn't see anything else) in the Admin modify settings,

Done the same in the Category and user groups, yet I am not seeing an option to leave a comment.

What am I missing?

If you have turned on commenting and set permissions on all the correct categories and in the usergroup permissions users should see the quick reply box under a photo and or at least a new reply button.

Is there an area with detailed instructions so I can double check my settings?

Not to my knowledge but if you email us a link and admin login we can look but I would suspect the permissions are not set correctly under the vbgallery admin area.

well this is what I have done:

Under the AdminCP, in the VBGallery area, Under Modify Settings, Under Posting Options, Allow Replies is set to "yes"

Under Category Permissions, Allow Replies is marked "yes"

Under Category Permissions, they are allowed to reply to images

Did I miss anything?

actually was Group Permissions

For each group you want these set correctly. I cant really say anything else but look at your site which I offered to do.

Not a problem let me know. I have a completely brand new not used test site up and see comments boxes so it has to be permissions related and I will assist if you need me to.
